2015

March 10th: U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC, U.S.EcoGen Services, LLC, and Gemma Plant Operations, LLC executed an Operation and Maintenance Agreement for the U.S.EcoGen Polk Generation Facility.

February 10th: The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) ruled that the U.S.EcoGen Polk Generation Facility site is not in the Special Flood Hazard Area (Flood Plain).

January 30th: Duke Energy completed its Facility Study of the 68MW Interconnection of the U.S.EcoGen Polk Generation Facility. The parties will be executing a large generation interconnection agreement shortly.


2014

October 22nd: Duke Energy Completed its System Impact Study for the 68MW Interconnection of the U.S.EcoGen Polk Generation Facility. System impacts at the Ft. Meade Substation were deemed feasible. No upgrades would be required.

August 11th: U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC issues Notice of Election to Exercise Land Purchase Option to Hacklake, LLC. Closing of the land is expected shortly.

April 3rd: Florida Department of Environmental Protection issued amended air permit to U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC.

February 20th: U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC executes Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) Agreement with Gemma Power Systems, LLC of Glastonbury, CT.


2013

December 31st: U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC, U.S.EcoGen Okeechobee, LLC, U.S.EcoGen Martin, LLC and U.S.EcoGen Clay, LLC filed Form 556 with FERC pursuant to FERC QF Self Certification Rules.

November 21st: U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC executes Project Development Agreement with Gemma Power Systems, LLC of Glastonbury, CT.

June 28th: U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC executes a First Amendment to the Land Option Agreement with Hacklake Forests, LLC to add 167 acres of additional land to the original 1,163 acre project site for purposes of providing vehicle access to CR 630 and transmission access to the Duke Energy 230KV/69KV Ft. Meade Sub-Station.

December 14th: U.S.EcoGen, LLC announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, U.S.EcoGen Clay, LLC and Florida Power & Light Company have executed a 30 Year, 66 MW Agreement for the Purchase of Capacity and Energy for the U.S.EcoGen Clay Biomass Generating Facility.

December 14th: U.S.EcoGen, LLC announces that its wholly owned subsidiary, U.S.EcoGen Martin, LLC and Florida Power & Light Company have executed a 30 Year, 66 MW Agreement for the Purchase of Capacity and Energy for the U.S.EcoGen Martin Biomass Generating Facility.

October 22nd: Duke Energy Completed its Feasibility Study for the 68MW Interconnection of the U.S.EcoGen Polk Generation Facility. Interconnection at the Ft. Meade Substation are within allowable ranges. No network upgrades are required.

September 25th: The Florida Department of Environmental Protection, Florida Department of Transportation and the City of Ft. Meade approve the U.S.EcoGen Polk Generation Facility.

September 14th: U.S.EcoGen launches new web site.

September 10th: The City of Ft. Meade approves the rezoning of the U.S.EcoGen Polk Generation Facility site from Agricultural to M-2 Heavy Industrial zoning.

July 9th: Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) issues Final Air Permit to Construct to U.S.EcoGen Polk, LLC.
